£1000 Raised at Moreton First Easter Bingo
Over 120 parents and children came to Moreton First’s Easter bingo on Friday 10th March to enjoy a delicious curry supper, to have some family fun and to support a fantastic cause.

Through Beatrice and her parents, Moreton First had heard about an appeal for Keframa School in a very poor region in Uganda. The initiative is dedicated to building a future for children and we wanted to help.

Claire Tufnell, who had worked at the Keframa School, kindly came to the Bingo and gave a brief yet inspiring talk about the hopes and struggles of the Ugandan families trying to build this school where their children hope to be educated.

Then it was all eyes down as Mr Taylor read out the numbers! Lots of Easter eggs were collected as prizes by lucky participants.

All proceeds from the night, including a fantastic raffle, raised over £1000. Every penny will go directly to helping the children at Keframa School achieve their dream of having an education.
