Artwork Praised in National Exhibition

Several pieces of Moreton First artwork were selected for the SATIPS Art Exhibition, recently held in Cheltenham College. The vast body of work comprised of projects completed by talented pupils ranging from Year 3 to Upper 4. The Guest of Honour was Korky Paul, acclaimed illustrator of Winnie The Witch children’s' books.

Cheltenham’s Head of Art heralded the excellent artwork on display from Moreton First and iterated that out of the seventy plus schools who submitted work, Moreton First certainly stood out from the crowd.

Several of our pieces were proudly displayed in the main foyer where they sparked lots of questions regarding our interesting themes and techniques. With over 560 pieces of work on display from Prep Schools across the country, it was wonderful to see that many teachers had voted for the work by one of our Year 5 boys as their favourite piece of the entire show. Charlie’s artwork is pictured below.
