Bursaries

There are many students who would both benefit the school and benefit from the school but who may be unable to join Moreton due to financial constraints. As a registered charity we offer a number of means-tested bursaries worth up to the value of 100% of fees to assist such students. If you would like to discuss bursaries further, please contact the Bursary or the Principal.

As well as the standard bursaries we also award the following:

Miss Bronwen Lloyd-Williams Award - Available annually and may be awarded to relieve financial hardship in order that a student already in school may complete her education.

Ursula Roberts Award - Students whose parents live within a radius of approximately 20 miles of Oswestry are eligible to apply for this award given in memory or Ursula Roberts, successively pupil and Librarian at Moreton Hall for 37 years. The award is worth the equivalent of two day places at Moreton, but may be split into up to six lesser awards. It may also be awarded to students who live locally, but who would like to board.

Fee Remission

Fee remission may be available upon request to the daughters of members of the independent teaching profession, the daughters of serving members of Her Majesty's Armed forces, and the daughters of Old Moretonians.
