A further seven girls from Moreton Hall have been selected for the England Regional Lacrosse Academy after training with them over the Easter holidays. These girls will now be focused on selection into the International Academy.
In total, Moreton now have seven girls in the Welsh Team and one in the England team.
This is a major success for the school, particularly as no other school north of the Thames Valley has this many pupils in the national squads.
Head of Sport, Kate Groves commented: “Lacrosse at Moreton is the strongest it has ever been, with so many talented girls being selected for national squads. It is an exceptional achievement for the players, demonstrating their hard work and commitment to the sport.”
