Exciting New Developments at Moreton First

Moreton First has developed two school club links to enhance the opportunities available to both boys and girls.

The first link has been developed with Borders Counties Gymnastics club in Oswestry. This is an exciting venture for the key stage one children who visit the fantastic facilities at the Borders Gym club weekly to be taught by the team of coaches. The coaches also come to Moreton Hall every week to deliver an after school Gymnastics Club.

Head of Moreton First Sport Alison McDonald commented: "This is a great opportunity for the children to be exposed to all the specialist gymnastics equipment and expert teaching and will really help aid the children's fundamental core skills. We look forward to our partnership developing with Borders Counties Gym."

There's also an exciting development for boys sports in Moreton First as we team up with TNS All Saints Football Club

All boys in the junior years are recieving weekly tuition in football as TNS come into school with their coaches to aid delivery of our football strategy. The boys also have the opportunity to attend another training session but on the 3G pitches at the TNS All Saints venue.

Boys Sport Co-ordinator Simon Taylor commented: "This is a wonderful experience for the boys, playing football on the 3G pitches outside of school and I am excited to watch their development."
