Jemima Picked for National Youth Orchestra

Moreton student, Jemima Pickersgill (U5), has secured a place in the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. She will attend a ten day residential course at Easter and then a course in Switzerland in the summer. Jemima is currently studying clarinet and bass clarinet and attends the Junior Royal Northern alongside her studies at Moreton Hall.

Head of Music, Helen Rayner, commented: “This is a spectacular achievement for Jemima. Her hard work and commitment to the subject has really paid off, and we are in no doubt that she will excel whilst playing with the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. We wish her every success.”
