U14s

U13s

Tuesday 7th March

3.20pm - Top 16 Finish for U14s!

The U14's lost 2-1 to St. Paul's in the last 16. Great game and so many chances but just not meant to be! Well done to all the team!

That calls an end to a very successful National Schools Tournament for Moreton; Well done to all our teams for playing so well over the last 5 days!

3pm - U14s Win Their Section!

The U14 game against Berkhamstead was fast-paced and incredibly exciting. Though the Moreton side lost 3-2, with this result they still qualified for the knock out rounds. 

Winning their section overall, up next is a match against St Pauls.

2pm - U13s Win

The U13s have just beaten St Helen and St Katharine 2-1.

 

1pm - Winning Streak for U14s 

The U14s have beaten St Bartholomew's 4-0, that's 4 games out of 4 so far! 

The U13s have lost 2-1 against St Paul's. They are playing well and trying so hard. This tournament is a great experience for the U13's! 

12pm - Further Results

The U13's drew 1-1 against Dulwich High and the U14s have beaten St Albans 6-1! 

11.20am - U14s Second Win

The U14s have beaten Caterham 5-0!

11.15am - U13s First Game

The U13s have drawn 2-2 against St Albans High School!

10.30am - First Game of The Day

U14's beat St George's Harpenden 6-1!

10am - Warming Up

The U13 and U14 Lacrosse Teams are ready for their day at National Schools Lacrosse! Warming up ready to play. 

 

Monday 6th March

2.30pm - Win vs Malvern St James

Latest result just in - we've beaten Malvern St James 6-0!

1:45pm - More Results! 

11:45am - Win v Heathfield

The U15 Team just beat Heathfield 3-1!

11am - U15's Results

The U15 team are playing incredibly so far demonstrating some great Lacrosse skill:

Lost 0-2 v Queen Anne's 
Won 2-0 v Marlborough

 

Saturday 4th March

3pm - Round Up So Far

The U19Bs have had a great day - winning half their games:

The First Team have finished in the top 16 after narrowly losing 3-2 to St Mary's Calne in the knockouts. 

Kate Groves comments: "The girls and staff have been great today and deserve a lot of praise. It's a very tough tournament and to win 9 of the 11 matches played by the 1st Team required a lot of determination and hard work. 

The 2nd Team have equally been playing hard and 9 minute matches is really tough! "

11:00am - Win v Caterham 

The 1st team are off to a flying start with two wins under their belts. This second win was 2-1 against Caterham. The team employed some excellent sporting tactics, holding the ball for 4 minutes. Well done girls!

10:40am  - Win v Queen Anne's 

After a phenomenal performance on the pitch, the 1st Team won 2-1 against Queen Anne's.

9.20am - Warming Up

The team's getting ready for another day of action today, the weather is looking better today - it's sunny!

 

Friday 3rd March

5.10pm - Final Match of the Day

We're through to the championship games tomorrow after winning 5 out of 6 games. The final game ended in a 6-2 defeat against Guildford High. It was a great game. There were 10 Academy players in their team and a great goalie so we had to work hard to score! 

Our girls are just fab!

4.05pm - Win vs Queen Margaret's

Another win - 5-3 vs Queen Margaret's - 1 more game to go! 

 

3.15pm - Win vs Westonbirt

The U19s have just beaten Westonbirt 5-1!

2.35pm - First Team Photograph

2.20pm - Third Win

A win vs Downe House 9-1

2.15pm - Second Match, Second Win!

We won our second match 8-1 over Marlborough College!

12.50pm - First Match

Results from the first game are in! We won 4-1 over St James' Senior Girls School. What a start!

 

 

 

10.35am - Arrived!

The 1st team have arrived at Surrey Sports Park for the Nationals!

Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for tomorrow start time changes are being implemented to the Championships.

Play start at 12:00 noon 
 
Game time: 15 minutes’ games, straight change at 7 minutes. 1 minute between matches.
