Moreton Hall commences its Centenary year celebrations with news of its highest marks ever at A Level.
“Amid government moves to create more rigorous A Level standards, it was believed that this year’s top grades would inevitably drop”, comments Principal, Jonathan Forster. “So we are absolutely delighted to be able to report that our A Levels have exceeded expectation with 30% of our grades at A* - the highest top marks we have ever recorded in the school’s 100 year history.”
The students achieved 100% pass rate, with 62% of grades at A*- A, 13% of girls achieving 3 or more straight A*s and 38% of girls achieving A* and A grades in all of their subjects. Ninety four percent of all grades were at A*-C .
