Moreton First Dodgeball Raises £1,343

Moreton First pupils have taken part in a national initiative to raise awareness about the benefits of fitness and exercise for a healthy heart.

Warren Appleby, Fundraising Manager for Shropshire from British Heart Foundation visited the children before the event took place and explained the importance of the charity.

The children were keen to raise money via sponsors and undertook the task of taking part in a Dodgeball competition in their house teams. They had a fabulous afternoon and Vincent house team were the winners. Moreton First were proud to present a cheque for £1,343.

Warren Appleby said ‘We are thrilled that the children at Moreton First School enjoyed the Dodgeball and raised such a fantastic amount for our life-saving work’.
