At the beginning of the week, sixty two excited girls journeyed to Moreton Hall for a two day pre-season Lacrosse camp run by England International Coach, Hollie Harrington. The girls were fortunate enough to also be coached by the fantastic U19 World Cup Bronze Medal Vice-Captain Taya Jackson, Team GB Lacrosse Goalie Emilie Chandler and Wales International and Old Moretonian, Serena Grace. The coaches all gave the girls a real insight into what playing at an international level is like.

Over the course of the two days, the girls learnt a great deal from their inspirational coaches, superbly demonstrating lots of individual skills as well as polishing both defensive and attacking strategies. The girls then put these newly acquired techniques into practice at the end of camp tournament.

Undoubtedly, the best part of the camp was seeing so many girls from a range of different schools and clubs mixing together, playing and enjoying the sport they love. The two days have shown just how important it is to provide the girls with a host of opportunities where they can learn new skills, develop their confidence and play well within a team.
