Music at Moreton knows no boundaries
Music For All

As a school, Moreton Hall is an advocate of ‘music for all’ and provides endless opportunities, and enrichment to ignite interest and nurture talent.

Each year brings new musical challenges and performance opportunities including music festivals, musical productions, ensembles and concerts.

From pupils who previously had intense stage fright to making their debut performance, to gaining passes, merits and distinctions in ABRSM, LCM and Trinity College examinations, music continues to thrive at Moreton Hall. The dedication and enthusiasm our pupils show towards music is infectious and it is as a result of their hard work and determination and the first-class musical tuition and excellent facilities that they are able to achieve so much.

Music Tours

Music tours abroad take place every two years and give pupils the opportunity to perform in larger venues whilst experiencing different cultures. Moreton’s musicians have visited prestigious venues such as St. Marks Basilica in Venice, St. Nicholas’ Church in Prague and visits to Boston, Barcelona and Paris. Music-making really is one of the key fundamentals of Moreton Hall’s educational experience.

Moreton Hall’s Moreton Barbirolli Music Society celebrates the high standard of music and offers a wide variety and range of events open to all musicians.

"The commitment of Moreton Hall to the development of musical talent is extraordinary. We are so very excited by the prospects for collaborative opportunities that will be available in the future, together celebrating our young people in music."
