Spoken English is a cornerstone of a Moreton Hall education and L5 students have achieved consistently high scores across the ESB Examinations board for another year running!
Further to the recent impressive results from Remove to U4, L5 girls have similarly risen to the challenge, achieving excellent marks in these prestigious examinations.
Each student presented a talk on a topic of interest and responded to queries from the examiner and audience. Over two thirds of the students achieved distinctions, with a further 14 being awarded Merit + and 10 Merits.
The girls who achieved distinctions are: Freya, Abigail, Holly, Ella, Amelia, Fenella, Hattie, Isabella, Freya, Ellie, Freya, Mia, Sophie, Megan, Seren and Cici.
Head of Spoken English, Merriel Halsall-Williams commented: “With these exams, students gain the skills and confidence they need to express themselves fluently in any situation. These results show the exceptionally high calibre of Moreton students.”
