Record Year for Oxbridge Applications

The dreaming spires have become a reality today for four Moreton Hall girls with the news of their successful applications to Oxford and Cambridge. This marks the end of a long application journey and equals Moreton’s most successful Oxbridge year this millennium!

Supported by Moreton Hall’s Head of Oxbridge Enrichment, Matthew Dennison and a dedicated team of subject teachers, the girls went through a rigorous process of college exams and interviews. Their subject choices range across the curriculum, with Engineering, English and German, Classics and Linguistic Degrees all on the agenda. It’s not just senior school faculties who are celebrating: Millie and Harriet were pupils at Moreton First before joining the Senior School in 2010.

Principal, Jonathan Forster, commented: “We are delighted for the girls on their exceptional achievements. Their hard work and passion for their subjects have been recognised. As the UK’s Number One Non-Selective school, it’s wonderful to see some of our brightest girls destined for the UK’s top universities.”
