Years 6 to Lower 4 were all invited to attend a Spanish Theatre play last week. It was about two siblings who lived in Madrid and were preparing for a fiesta. There were many tricks such as riding a unicycle, juggling and more.
The aim of it was to teach the students how to speak the basics of Spanish. The actors involved the audience a lot, encouraging us to ask questions, making us laugh and teaching us about the weather.
“Even though it was in Spanish, I understood what they were saying,” Belinda said, "The actions they did to accompany the Spanish made the language very clear and easy to understand.” Everyone thought it was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed it.
