Twenty seven children from Moreton First took part in this term's themed sports boarding night. The children went ten pin bowling where competition in teams was fiercely contested by all!
After bowling the children returned to school for supper and fun and games before retiring to bed ready for their sports coaching day the next morning.
The children had an early wake up call at 6.30am to get prepared for the day ahead jam packed with coaching workshops at Denstone College.
Both the boys and the girls all started off by taking part in a coaching clinic taken by Imran Shawani an Olympic hockey gold medallist.
They then moved onto a Strength and conditioning session working on there body movements and balance. The girls were then taken off for a netball coaching clinic whilst the boys received some cricket skills coaching.
The children all immersed themselves fully into all the activities on offer. It was a great experience to have many high level coaching sessions all in one day and something the children will remember.
