Thirteen Year Old Mathematician Outperforms Sixth Formers Nationally

A thirteen year old student from Moreton Hall performed outstandingly well in the UK Mathematics Trust competition. Competing against students who were 3 – 5 years older than herself, Georgina Lang achieved an impressive ‘merit’, placing her in the top 2% of competitors nationally.

A total of 81,000 students, mostly Sixth Formers, took part in the challenge.

Fellow Moreton Hall students, Jingwen Lv (aged 18) and Melissa Hu (aged 16) also competed to a high level.
