Twenty five girls from Moreton Hall represented Shropshire at the North Shropshire County Lacrosse Tournament held at Queen Margaret’s in York. All the girls played incredibly well with both teams winning two matches and drawing one, winning the tournament.
It is the first time in history that Shropshire has won the tournament. It was an exceptional day of lacrosse with the majority of the team being Moreton.
Moreton Hall students, Lucy and Emily were awarded ‘Most Value Players’ for the A and B teams respectively.
It was the perfect way to end the season, highlighting the strength and success of Lacrosse at Moreton Hall. Kate Groves, Head of Sport comments: “These results really do show how well we are playing the game and the incredible consistency we have managed to achieve over the last year.”
