As Moreton Hall's prep school, Moreton First, introduces its new uniform in autumn, the children of the school have come up with a charitable initiative. Rather than wasting the uniforms, the children have asked Head Girl, Alice Smith if she would take their old t-shirts to Kenya with her to donate to a primary school there. Alice Smith (Year 13), who has also raised funds for a toilet for the school, will be taking the shirts with her when she heads to Kenya this week. Alice will be working in a boys' secondary school where more than half the students are orphans and facilities are very basic and has arranged to deliver the shirts to the nearby primary school. So the clothing will now be the new uniform for the Nyakakana primary school near Lake Victoria in Kenya.
