Incorrect GCSE Results Published by Department of Education

The DfE GCSE results published last week have incorrectly quoted Moreton Hall's GCSE results and quoted incorrect data for the number of pupils who sat exams, which possibly causes the discrepancy. We are aware that we are not the only school to have been misrepresented.

Of the 512 GCSEs sat by the 53 girls in Year 11 (Upper 5) in 2011, 73% were A-A* grades, 41% A* and 98% A*- C grades. 98% of pupils achieved 5+ A*-C Grades.
We have contacted the DfE to ask them to review their data.
