To liaise with the Principal, Deputy Head Pastoral, House Staff and parents on medical matters and to advise on matters of health and hygiene, as long as this does not contravene accepted practices of confidentiality. 2. To hold surgeries three times a day. 3. To maintain the dispensary and all house and sports medical boxes. 4. To nurse girls in bed because of illness and to arrange provision of food for them. 5. To arrange, when necessary, for the escorting of girls to clinics, surgeries, opticians, dentists, hospital appointments, etc. 6. To assist the School Doctors at their surgeries held in school four times each week. 7. To deal with emergencies as they arise using medical and emergency services if necessary. 8. To inform House and Teaching Staff if girls are absent from lessons due to illness. 9. To assist with the teaching of the PSHE programme. 10. To organise training for Staff in emergency First Aid and to encourage girls to learn these skills too.
