North Schools Lacrosse Tournament

North Schools Lacrosse Tournament

After a restructuring of boundaries for competitive Lacrosse, from September 2012 Moreton Hall will be competing in the North region, therefore this was the final year that we played as an "invitational/guest" team in the North Schools Tournament. ( At present we are a "Midlands schools")

Our U15 team had a brilliant day. They are already Midlands Schools champions and now have the knowledge that they also beat all the North schools who played in the competition on Thursday 2nd Feb. Their next challenge is the national schools tournament to be held at Imperial College on Tuesday 6th March where they will play against all the best schools in the country. Moreton beat Bolton, Harrogate Ladies' College, Withington Girls' School and Queen Margaret's A and B teams. Click here for full results .

Our U14 team also had a good day - easily beating all the schools in their section - Bolton, Queen's Chester, Withington Girls' School and Queen Maragret's U14 B team. In the semi-final, however, they lost 4 -1 to a strong Queen Margaret's U14A team.
