Reading from The Book of Common Prayer, thirty eight Moretonians took to the podium in last night's annual Sarah Parkes Competition. The competition, created by Dr Giles Parkes in memory of his late daughter Sarah, was once again judged by Colonel Hewitt. "It is incredible that we have such a high overall standard," commented Colonel Hewitt. "It's a great achievement both for the school and for the girls as individuals".
This year's Junior winner was Morgan Darcy Rees-Deacon (Year 8/L4) (who also holds the Junior National Cranmer Award) with runner up Antonia Nicholls (Year 8/L4). Senior winner was Charlotte Ford (Year 9/L5), with runner up Roisin Ni Chulachain (Year 13/U6).
