The Easter break proved successful for two Moreton girls who competed at the National Schools Association Inter Schools Dressage Competition held at Maelor Equestrian Centre on Sunday 25th March. Bridget Tate and her horse came 2nd in Prelim 13 with a score of 72.5% and went on to achieve 10th place in Prelim 14. This made Bridget the highest placed Shropshire rider and she has now been 'crowned' the NSEA County Champion Dressage rider for Shropshire.
Following on from their success at the qualifiers held at Kelsall Hill in September 2011, two Moreton riders have qualified for the National Schools Equestrian Association BE100 Championship finals to be held at Keysoe in early May. Kitty Robinson and Taya Drew will be competing with the best riders from other schools around the UK and competing in dressage, show jumping and cross country over a 1 metre course. We wish them the best of luck.
