The girls of Lower 5 write:
For the third year running, fifteen Lower 5 girls headed to Salamanca in February where we stayed with host families and attended intensive Spanish lessons at the Don Quixote language school. The lessons were very useful but the highlights were the free time in the Plaza Mayor and seeing the whole square illuminated at night and visiting the university buildings. We loved the varied restaurants and food, especially the chocolate churros and tapas! One day we went up on to the roof of the cathedral - it was amazing looking out over beautiful Salamanca. We felt our Spanish came on a lot and it gave us a lot more confidence with speaking the language.
