Accommodation
The School is set in one hundred acres of beautiful parkland on the Shropshire – Welsh border. Steeped in history, parts of the original building date as far back as 1527. The School offers a tranquil environment in private and secluded grounds.
Our accommodation is spread over six boarding houses offering a combination of single, twin, double and multi bedded rooms. We offer both en-suite and dormitory style living. During holiday periods accommodation is available for up to 250 people with 100 beds serviced by en–suite bathrooms. With a family atmosphere our comfortable, well-furnished bedrooms are modern, homely, pleasant and well-lit. Common rooms are in all houses - with comfortable seating for relaxing in the evenings.
Boys and girls are housed in separate areas - predominately in different boarding houses, but always separated by corridors and/or staircases.
The rooms are within short walking distance of the teaching rooms.
All meals are taken in our award winning self-service dining hall. The ethos of the school means that food is of a wide variety with healthy options using fresh, local produce wherever possible. Vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements can be easily catered for.
