The newly formed North Shropshire Children's choir held their first performance on Sunday the 22nd May following a day of singing, hosted by Moreton Hall. Young choristers aged 8 to 12 from Oswestry and the surrounding area, led by Eleanor Diack, explored a variety of vocal techniques in a fun and accessible way. Eleanor Diack, is a highly skilled, passionate and professional choral director with a wealth of experience founding and tutoring children's and youth choirs on a County and National level. The short concert performed at the end of the day left the audience amazed at the standard reached and the children's achievements in just a few hours.
The North Shropshire Children's Choir is open to all children aged between 8-12. Rehearsals will be held every second Sunday of the month starting in October.
