Milly’s selection to play for England in the 2019 U19 Women’s Lacrosse World Championships follows a very successful tour to the U.S.A.
Head of Lacrosse Coaching at Moreton, Hollie Harrington, commented:
“We are all exceptionally proud of Milly and this is a huge achievement. Having coached her over the last 5 years and seen first-hand her passion, determination, and love of the game, nobody deserves this more. I know she’ll do herself proud.
“We as a department and school wish her every success on the world stage.”
Milly will now reap the rewards for her hard work. She enthused:
“I can’t believe it; I’m so happy.
“The 4 years of academy weekends has paid off.
“We have 6 full days of squad training left before we leave in August.
“I’m so excited for the next few months to train with the team and eventually go to Canada and compete for the highest place we can.”
