This week, the current Lower Sixth Directors stood in front of their Upper Five peers as well as new girls starting in September and delivered a presentation to the next year group of aspiring entrepreneurs, encouraging them to apply for positions within the business.
In today’s fast-changing and uncertain business environments, launching and running a new business seems like a daunting challenge but for the students of Moreton Enterprises, the reality is that new opportunities are abound for those entrepreneurial students who can harness their creativity and the skill of risk to grow new forms of value and innovation.
We’re pushing new boundaries with Moreton Enterprises, focusing on the challenge of extending business and entrepreneurship beyond the Sixth Form and beyond the curriculum. At Moreton, we really do consider business to be at the heart of what we do and by expanding opportunities to all year groups, we really believe we are setting the way for young business-minded entrepreneurs.
Verity, Managing Director 2015-16, commented: "Many prospective pupils who are hoping to join us for Sixth Form were able to be present and it was a great start to their sixth form induction programme. As well as describing each role within Moreton Enterprises, the directors gave the girls an insight into what it is like running a business. There was much interest sparked and I'm sure many of the girls will be applying and attending interviews later on in the term."
