Boarding at Moreton First boasts a flexible approach that suits both busy families and those living away from home.

The happiness and safety of each child is our primary concern. Resident House-Parents, along with the assistance of Moreton First teachers, create a warm and friendly family atmosphere within a culture of outstanding pastoral care.

After-school hours may be spent playing outdoors with friends, reading or simply relaxing in the common room. At bed-time the girls and boys go to their individual boarding houses.

Our full-time boarders enjoy learning independence in a safe environment, being part of a friendly and supportive community and forming strong friendships. We also maintain a flexible approach whereby children may choose to stay for one or more nights a week allowing time to take part in drama rehearsals or try new activities or sports without the pressure of a long journey home.

The school wants children to love boarding there, and they do, partly because of the very special staff and partly because there is so much going on....
