Brave women from Moreton First are swapping heels for running shoes and donning their pink t-shirts and shorts for a 5K fun run around the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park on June 25th.
Teaching and admin staff from Moreton First are taking on Race for Life Pretty Muddy - the 5k muddy obstacle course where you can show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
Catherine Ford, fundraiser and Head of Moreton First, commented: “There isn’t one person that hasn’t been touched by cancer in some way. It is particularly close to our hearts as we have two members of staff coming out the other side. We all have our special reasons for taking part and wanting to help more people survive.”
To sponsor the fundraisers, please go to www.justgiving.com/moretonfirst. All the money raised will go to Cancer Research UK in order to beat the illness that claims so many lives each year. Race for Life Pretty Muddy helps Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists to advance research which is helping to save the lives of more men, women and children affected by cancer.
