Representatives from the NSPCC delivered an assembly called 'Speak out. Stay Safe' to students at Moreton First. They emphasised the right to speak out and be heard, the right to be safe and the right to get help when needed.
The children met 'Buddy' the NSPCC mascot and took part in practical tasks to help them understand the worries they often carry around and how important it is to share them. Year 5 and 6 also took part in a workshop where they were given scenarios to distinguish between right and wrong.
The whole day was hugely insightful and interesting, the students learnt a great deal about this very important subject matter.
