We are delighted to announce the official launch of Moreton Connect (www.moretonconnect.com), our unique, dedicated website that allows current Moreton Hall students and Alumni to search for work experience placements, internships and job vacancies.
This is a groundbreaking initiative that, with your support, will grow into an invaluable resource to support young women in their future careers. The site has 2 distinct functions:
- It enables businesses to ‘List’ opportunities. These can be work experience placements, internships or job vacancies. We have worked hard to ensure this function is as user friendly as possible and includes the option to upload supporting documents. You can rest assured that any contact details will not be shared or made public - all applications will be managed through Moreton Connect and only the details of suitable candidates will be forwarded on to you.
- Students and alumni can ‘Find’ an opportunity by selecting the opportunity ‘Type’ and filtering using the ‘Sector’ and ‘Location’ options. This will allow them to ‘Show an interest’ in the opportunity and complete an online application form which is then submitted to Moreton Connect for consideration.
The site also has a useful ‘hints and tips’ section where users can get advice on things such as writing CV’s and letters of application, preparing for interviews and making the most of work experience placements. It also features case studies about successful placements that have taken place.
Moreton is leading the way with this initiative and we really hope as many businesses as possible will get involved to ensure its future success.
