Face2Face Scholarship Auditions
Friday, 13th September 2019 - 6pm - 8.30pm 


 
We are offering a limited number of 25% and 50% scholarships for the Face2Face Performance Academy for talented individuals in the local community.

Those students who wish to apply for a scholarship must submit an application and attend the scholarship audition date on Friday 13th September 2019. 

Students who wish to apply for the Face2Face Scholarship must fit the following criteria:

  • Be in full time education
  • Aged 9 – 18
  • Submit a personal statement

The submission deadline for scholarship applications and personal statements is Friday 30th August. Please return to the Face2Face team by filling in the form below or via email at face2face@moretonhall.com, or to Michael Jenkins, Moreton Hall, Weston Rhyn, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY11 3EW
 
In addition to meeting the above criteria all applicants must audition, presenting the following:

If you are aged between 9 – 12:

Please choose one of the following:

  • Musical Theatre standard song – sung with live accompaniment, please provide sheet music, or backing track 
  • Popular song – sung with live accompaniment or backing track
  • Dance routine, any style – please bring backing track
  • A memorised Shakespeare Sonnet

 
If you are aged between 13 – 18:

Please choose two of the following:

  • Musical Theatre standard song – sung with live accompaniment, please provide sheet music, or backing track 
  • Popular song – sung with live accompaniment of backing track
  • Dance routine, any style – please bring backing track
  • A memorised Shakespeare Sonnet

 
The applications, auditions and personal statements will be reviewed by the Face2Face team and successful applicants will be notified by email.

  • Personal Statement

    For this, we ask you to write a short piece demonstrating your love for acting, singing and dancing and detailing why you would like to be considered for a scholarship. You could write about a favourite character you’ve played, recent dance or song you’ve performed or you could write about what is your favourite performance discipline and why.
