"It was a lovely surprise - after quite a gruelling interview - to find out that I was one of the 6% of Moreton students to be offered a place at Oxbridge," explains one of this year's successful Oxbridge candidates Miriam Chapman. "We've all worked so hard, as have all of the Upper Sixth. The additional, intense tuition given tirelessly by Mrs Peel, Mr Nanson and Mr Dennison was both inspiring and amazing. My offer is from Hertford College, Oxford to read Human Sciences.
"I'm passionate about human ecology and have been closely involved with a lot of societies at school which have helped me understand more about the subject and beyond, including the Eco Team, People and Planets, Gertrude Bell (Geography) and the Jenner Medical Society."
The Oxbridge successes are the icing on the cake for Moreton where the Sixth Formers are currently celebrating over 70% of girls having received offers from their first choice of University, including Imperial College London, Durham, Exeter and Bristol.
