Parent, Rosie Blake, writes:
'On the last Sunday in February, the 24 girls of the Moreton Hall Chamber Choir had the privilege to be invited to sing at the weekly Choral Evensong of University College, Oxford. The setting was breath-taking. The college chapel, situated off the main Quad, was candlelit throughout and the ornate decoration made the perfect setting for the angelic voices of the girls' choir. Lottie Eyre did a wonderful job reading the Lesson which was followed by a most inspirational and thought-provoking Lent sermon by The Revd Dr Jane Baun.'
'The congregation was very well supported by both Moretonian Parents and staff (including Mr Forster and his wife) and the event was followed by drinks upstairs in the Alington Room, kindly hosted by the rather delightful undergraduates! It was an honour to be invited to such a prestigious occasion and to witness the professionalism of the girls' performance. They are truly a reflection of the dedication and hard work from both themselves and the many members of staff involved, in particular Mrs Rayner and her team.'
